10 Km Timed Run: 16 years and above

5 Km Joy Run: Open for all
For participants below the age of 10, a consent form must be signed by their parent/guardian on Bib Expo Day.

There are three age categories:
• 18 – 35 years
• 36 – 50 years
• 51 years and above
The three fastest male and female runners in each race and age category will be felicitated with cash prizes, finisher medals, e-certificates, and exciting goodies.

Refund Policy:
• In the event of cancellation due to reasons beyond the organizers’ control, alternate options will be offered to participate in future events. Registration fees are non-refundable but may be adjusted against upcoming events.
• No-questions-asked refund policy: Participants wishing to withdraw must inform the organizers at least 14 days prior to the event by emailing sports@spit.ac.in to receive a full refund.

By submitting this form, I certify that I am physically capable of participating in the event and have undergone all required medical evaluations by a licensed medical professional. I understand that there are potential health risks associated with participation and absolve the organizers of any liability arising from injury, illness, or loss. Rules and Regulations:
1. Race timing will be recorded on a mat-to-mat basis.
2. Registrations will remain open until 1st March 2026 or until slots are filled.
3. Participants must upload or submit valid ID proof for age verification.
4. Student discounts (if applicable) require a valid S.P.I.T. student ID.
5. Bibs are non-transferable.
6. Snacks and refreshments will be served post-race upon presentation of the bib.
7. Finisher medals will be distributed after race completion (bib mandatory).
8. E-certificates will be available for download post-event.
9. Time limits:
o 5 Km – 60 minutes
o 10 Km – 100 minutes
o 21.1 Km – 210 minutes
10. Bibs must be collected during the Bib Expo; none will be issued on race day.
11. No cash prizes will be awarded to participants below 18 years of age.
12. Prize money will be distributed as per last year’s timeline.
13. Late registrants may or may not receive names printed on bibs.

Q1 – When and where do I collect my running bib?
A – Bibs must be collected on Bib Expo Day. The date, timings, and venue will be communicated by the organizing team.
Q2 – What do I need to bring to collect my bib? Can someone else collect it?
A – A valid ID proof and registration confirmation are required. Bibs may be collected by another person with the necessary documents.
Q3 – I made a mistake in my registration details. How can I correct it?
A – Email the corrected details along with proof to sports@spit.ac.in.
Q4 – Can overseas participants apply?
A – Yes. A passport must be presented for identification during bib collection.
Q5 – Where can I find the results?
A – Timings will be shared via SMS post-race, and results will be uploaded online shortly thereafter.
Q6 – Will my bib be replaced if lost?
A – No replacements will be provided.
Q7 – Can I register on race day?
A – No. All registrations must be completed before the deadline.
Q8 – Where can I check the marathon route?
A – The route will be shared on the official Instagram pages @s.p.i.t_halfmarathon and @sports_spit, and via a pamphlet at the Bib Expo.
Q9 – I am a runner with special needs. Will assistance be provided?
A – Participants are requested to arrange their own guide, as volunteers will not be allocated for this purpose.
